You can call it new urbanism, modern farmhouse design, or simple living. We like to think of it as life, well-lived. Every day in these parts is one part adventure, two parts community, and a massive dose of heart. We started this blog as a way to document our journey, make a few memories, and hopefully inspire a few others along the way. We aren’t ranchers, cowboys, farmers, rugged, outdoorsy, or DIYers. We are good old fashion cityfolk. We believe in things like shopping malls, and easy to access organic grocery stores, nail salons and car repair shops–all of which are now over an hour away.
